Is there a way for a form in one sheet to populates a column in a different sheet?
I am looking to create a sheet that tracks who has viewed the monthly update videos on our company site. Ideally I would create a form that modifies the row, but I've read this is not possible. My idea for a work around is to create a sheet every month that has a form that asks for their employee number after they watch the video. This will give me a list of everyone who has viewed the video for the month in question. I then want to have a master sheet that has all the employee numbers, their names and columns for each month. I would then need to link these two files so that if the employee number has appeared in both sheets, it adds a value to the column in the master file for the month in question. Hopefully I have explained this well enough.

Hi Matthew,
Have you tried using vLookup? You may be able to pull the data from the form sheet into a different sheet to reflect the changes occurred from the form being submitted.

I figured out a better way to accomplish what I was looking for. I created an automation that requested an update of a column by the user in the row.
