Is there a way to "turn off" my administrator rights so I can test functionality for a non-administrator?

Hello @Amanda Jeske ,

If you have a spare license, you could create a test account as a licensed user for testing features as a non-Admin. Additionally, if you'd like to compare 2 accounts side by side, you could have your main browser as your SysAdmin account, and then use an Incognito browser tab for your test account.

Alternatively, if there is another SysAdmin on your organization, you could have them modify your current permissions, and then change them back when you've finished testing.
