Restore data that was previously deleted from a sheet

Hi All

I was in the process of backing up and clearing data from our sheets to make way for 2021 data. In the process I forgot to make a copy of one sheet containing 2020 data and subsequently cleared all the data contained in that sheet.

Is there any way me or Smartsheet Support can restore the sheet from a certain timepoint i.e. 1pm yesterday ?

Unfortunately this is business critical data so needs to be retrieved. To the best of my knowledge no recurring back up was scheduled on any of these sheets. I have logged a ticket with Smartsheet support but wanted to reach out to the community also.

Is there anything that can be done? :(

Another option could be to export the Activity Log, but I'd wait for support to come back to you first.

Hey @Andrée Starå , have exported the activity log just waiting to see if a checkpoint can be restored by support.

Any quick workarounds you can think of to get the data from the activity log back in to the sheet if all else fails? :P
