Form with auto calculation

I've created a form that will be sent to our affiliates asking them about budgetary needs. Is it possible to have totals calculated on the form prior to submitting it?

Also, is there a way to automatically send a copy of the responses (without having to check a box)?

No and no. At least not within Smartsheet forms. There may be other forms that do allow this though that could be integrated with Smartsheet.

I am not sure if Google forms allows what you want to happen, but I do know that it integrates very easily with Smartsheet and could be one option for you to explore.

To add to Paul's excellent advice/answer.

You can use a Workflow with an automated alert sent to the submitter after each form submission.

You'll either have to set the form so that they have to login or add their email address in the form for it to work.
