Cross Referencing Sheets

Hi,

We want to create a sheet that cross references another sheet and only pulls in data relevant to the partner with whom we are sharing the sheet. The reason we do not want to use a report for this use case is that you cannot hide the comments from a report and we do not want them to see the row comments.

Please advise which formula(s) we should use to achieve this goal. Thank you!

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets.

Thank you Andree! The issue is I am unsure as to what we would use for the reference data when creating the second sheet. To provide some more specificity, we have one sheet where all referrals are entered. We want the second sheet to pull in only the referrals that are entered for one vendor. How do we get ALL rows that have that vendor as part of the referral into a distinct sheet? Can you please provide an example of how we would use those formulas to ensure existing and new data entered will filter ?
