Can I limit multi-select options?

When using the multi-select drop-down option for column data, can I limit the number of responses a user can select?

    Hi @Richard Gobble ,

There isn't a current capability to accomplish this. You can set up an update automation that sends them an update request if the cell has too many responses. You'd use COUNTM to determine how many responses where in the cell. If that number is greater than your limit you'd trigger the update request.

    Help?

    Hi @Richard Gobble

I hope you're well and safe!

To add to Mark's excellent advice/answer.

You could add a so-called helper column that would show a message if they select too many options.

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
