Hi Smartsheet Community -

We’re excited to let you know about Smartsheet’s new email feature, custom email domains, available now for customers on Enterprise and Premier Plans in Admin Center!

With a custom email domain, collaboration emails like update requests, reminders, notifications and sheet sharing can now be configured to come from your organization’s own domain (ex: @smartsheet.yourcompanyname.com) rather than the default Smartsheet domain. Once the domain is set up and verified through Admin Center, all new and existing notification emails will be sent using your domain in the sending address.

How will this help? Email recipients, especially those outside of your organization that might not know Smartsheet, are more likely to respond to emails when they recognize and trust the sender. By seeing your company name in the sender address, they’ll know the email is relevant and likely needs attention. Using a custom email domain helps ensure your emails get the attention and response they need, leading to more engaged collaboration with recipients on important work items.

Note: This feature is available to Enterprise and Premier plan users, and must be enabled by a System Admin on your account through Admin Center. There are a few technical details that may require System Admins to work with their IT team or domain administrator, so be sure to check out our detailed help article before getting started.

If you have any questions or feedback on this feature, we invite you to fill out our product enhancement request form, and a member of our product team will review!

Cheers,

Morgan
