Cell Link inside of a Template

Does anyone know if, or how, we can put a cell link inside of a template?... I'm looking to have all new sheets created with a template automatically have a link back to another sheet.

Example... I have a template to start new projects with and I'd like to have another sheet that lists all the projects. So as new projects get created with the template they are automatically added to the sheet that has the list of projects.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You could have an intake process that would be connected to the project sheets instead.

Sorry I'm new to Smartsheet. Are you suggesting another way to do this? through a form?... and does that mean that there is no way to do what I was asking about? Linking a cell within a Template.

You're more than welcome!

You can't automatically add new projects to the Project List with links, but you could copy the information to it.

I'd recommend doing it the other way instead.

Intake sheet where you start the process, and then you'd have a template or (templatized structure) that you use to create the project and more if needed.
