Building Metrics based off report data

Is there any way (I do not think there is) to add metrics on a dashboard based on results in reports?

OR

To show the summary view in a report on dashboards.

If not I can add a feature request.

If I could do "Countif" on a metric sheet that could reference data in reports then I could pull this into a dashboard.

I could do it all manually today and reference ALOT of sheets but it's not worth the labor and the upkeep to get this data.
