Cross-Sheet Formula:
Hi,
I would like to ask the community on how the 100,000 inbound cell cross sheet reference is computed.
Using the following example:
If I have a sheet with 10 columns and 100 rows, and 2 column level formulas using index/match cross-references to the same (or different) sheets, then my current inbound cells count is 2 *100=200. Is this correct?
Smartsheet Documentation:
https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2476606-formulas-reference-data-from-other-sheets
- Each sheet can include no more than 100 distinct cross-sheet references.
- There’s a limit of 100,000 inbound cells that can be referenced from other sheets into one sheet in total.

That is correct. Are you getting some kind of error?

Hey Paul, thank you heaps for the confirmation. I'm not getting an error. I'm just creating an admin sheet to monitor actuals vs sheet limits. I'm also using one of your range formulas too from another post for total number of columns (first/last) in a sheet and using a baseline (expected value) to monitor changes too.
