How to workflow a form

I would like to create a form to log damage created during cleaning in our plant. My thoughts are that it would flow as follows.

• The individual who discovers the damage would enter the date and description of the damage in the form.
• The form would workflow to sanitation and maintenance for their input and corrective actions while copying the appropriate plant leadership
• When the form is completed, a completed form would be sent to the appropriate personnel.

I have the Smartsheet and the form created I'm just not sure if it is possible to work flow a form in this manner.

I'd recommend starting with the form and then continue the process with automated update requests and end it with an alert or maybe create a document with the Document Builder feature.

Thanks Andree. I understand how to workflow a Smartsheet but I have never done a form. I'd like to workflow the form itself so the updates are done via the form and not directly to the sheet. Can this be done and if so then how?

Yes, it can probably be done, but it depends on the specifics.

We could use the URL-query feature to include some of the information in an alert, but I think that the total information would make it impossible to fit it all.
