Attachments in notes

Can attachments be attached to a note or message line in SmartSheet and when you use the @ symbol will it email the attachment as well or at least let the person know you attached something? I cant seem to add a comment and have the person know I added an attachment without them being in smartsheet?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

I advise my clients to mention in the message that there's a file to review or similar.
