Smartsheet Sync Google Forms - choose which field synced to the primary field

Hi all,

I sync google formular data to a smartsheet, which works fine.

Because I copy new entries to another smartsheet they must have the same primary field.

Unfortunately the smartsheet sync is syncing an other field from the google form to the smartsheet.

e.g. I need "NAME" as the primary field but smartsheet sync creates a smartsheet with the "EMAIL" as primary field.

Any idea how to change the mapping: google forms fields - smartsheet sync table?

Hi @Joachim Mund

When you create a sheet in Google Forms using the Smartsheet add-on, it will automatically select the first text field as the Primary Column for your sheet.

This means that if your "EMAIL" field appears earlier in the Form than the "NAME" field, it will be selected as the Primary Column. Does this make sense?

You can unlink your current sheet, adjust the placement of the form fields, then create a new Smartsheet sheet to sync up the correct column types. (See: Smartsheet Sync Add-on for Google Forms) Let me know if this works for you!
