Dropdown List in Single Cell in Smartsheet

Is there an option to make one cell in Smartsheet have a dropdown list?

Cell formatting (dropdowns/dates/contacts, etc...) are done at the column level. It is currently not possible to format cell data types by cell or by row, but it sure would be great if we could.
