Alert Someone 1 Week Before Due Date

Hello Smartsheets Community,

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I can't figure it out and need some help. I need to create an alert 1 week before dates that are entered in a date column field on my sheet (example below). I tried creating an automation, but I don't see where I can select # of days prior to a date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Anthony DAmbrosio !

Not a dumb question at all. :) You could create your automation using the trigger "When a date is reached" and then in the options where it says "Run Once" "on" you could change the "on" to be 1 week before. (You may need to scroll up among the options to see that one.)
