Using the Smartsheet Forms to Collect Multiple Emails and Send to Those Emails

I currently have a form that has a user select a name from a single select dropdown list. That dropdown list is linked to a backend table that will find that person's email based on who the form user selected. Once Smartsheet pulls in the email in the backend table an Approval Alert goes out to that person's email asking them to approve something.

This process has changed and now there is a one to many relationship between the form user requesting access and the approvers. Can a multi select option be used in this case? Can Smartsheet find John Smith and Matt Johns email if they are selected as one in a multi select and then send both John Smith and Matt Johns an email asking for approval?

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to get a formula to output multiple (usable) emails into a contact type column even if the option is selected to allow multiples. You would have to have each email broken out into their own contact type columns.
