Is there a different max number for number of rows in a report?

I know the maximums for a sheet (below) but I have a report that only has a handful of columns and is cutting off before all of the data is included (at about 2500 rows). Is there a different maximum number of rows in a report than a sheet?

I am also finding that if I add the grouping feature it will only show the headings in this report until I filter it even further.

Actually, we increased this recently! Now you can see up to 2,500 rows per-page on a Report (see this Release Note: Report Page Size)

@Kimberly Loveless, this row limit is per-page, so you should be able to see the rest of your rows by clicking the arrows at the bottom of the screen for the next page. Does that help?

Can anyone explain why in a dashboard only 150 rows can be visible? Evidently to show a 350-row report I need to create, and separately display on the dashboard, three different reports: 1-150; 151-300; and 301-450.

This seems a strange and really awkward case, as when someone enters row 451 I’d apparently have to set a workflow that triggers me to go create, and squeeze into the dashboard, the new 451-600 report.

Am I missing something here?
