Android calendar view looks different than iOS

Since a few months ago, our Android users have been reporting an issue with viewing calendar events where events are shown as ellipses, as opposed to showing event detail.

I've attached a screenshot of each view, showing the Calendar view of one of our Smartsheets.

Any ideas?
