Can someone confirm if rules have changed when sharing a Survey link?

In the past, I used to send the link and people did NOT need to open an account , now it seems that they're requested to create one.

What would happen if we send the link and they are no longer in the 30D trial? Are they NOT going to be able to open the link?

* BTW it seems to be happening when you use your MOBILE*

    Do you have the form set to only allow people who are signed in to populate it?

  • This seems to be an issue across the board as I have not enabled the setting but it is still requiring users to log-in. This new issue/enhancement will not work for us, can someone from Smarsheet please advise if/when this will be fixed.

    Do you have the Smartsheet App downloaded on the phone that you're testing this with? If you are clicking on the link from a mobile device and you already have the Smartsheet App downloaded, it may automatically prompt you to open the form in this app instead of a browser app (the Smartsheet App requires a login, but this is for the app and not the form).

    However, users who do not have Smartsheet accounts and who do not have the app downloaded to their phone should be able to open this in a browser on their mobile without needing to log in.

    Could this be what you're experiencing? If not, can you show screen captures of where you see the "Login" prompt, identifying what type of phone you have, what browser app you're opening the form in, and if you have the Smartsheet app downloaded.
