How to display Today`s Date in Dashboard

Hello,

I have a dashboard that I need to present today`s date.

I created a Date sheet just for date with =TODAY(1) function, and used Metric Widget getting data from the sheet summary. However, when I check the date it is not updated. I had to open my date sheet for that particular date, and click save-only then the Metric Widget gets updated.

Is there another way to display Today`s date in Dashboard?

Thanks Andrée! You made my day because I was struggling with numerous (current date) fields on my dashboards that all just did not update on time for the user to view (unless I opened the report/sheet) ... Easy and smart solution! Thanks. Iris
