Dashboard Widget to group dropdown results by cohort

I have a dataset that references people who are referred to my agency for outreach. I'd like to create a dashboard that groups them by cohort (date referred to my agency) and status (a dropdown column with about 15 options that can change and a null value). What I'm trying to create is a quick reference for leadership to see how each cohort is coming along.

I could accomplish this with a pie chart if needed, or even a table listing the status and number (raw and percent) associated with each status. When I try to use the chart widget and select the data in the status column (a single dropdown list) it says, "Selected data cannot be charted."

I've tried creating a report, but the only columns available to me are created, created by, modified, and modified by.

I'm sure this is easy but I just can't figure out how to accomplish this.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @David Frady

I hope you're well and safe!

Support for charts is coming soon, but you should be able to use a report in the meanwhile.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
