Email Notification "From"

Hello,

We are using Smartsheets to, in part, send notifications to individuals outside our company. As I have authored the sheets, when the email is sent it says "Khari Shiver via Smartsheets." I would rather it not show an individual's name, specifically mine, so I'm looking for a solution.

I know I can change my name in my profile but that's more of a band aid than a solution. Any other spreadsheets I create would be tied to the name update. Has anyone else run into this situation and managed to address it?

Unfortunately, the from email address is the Smartsheet user who triggered the workflow or the owner of the sheet.

I am the person who manages the smartsheets for our team, and often have nothing to do with the processes that the sheets and workflows manage. So that I don't spend my days redirecting questions, I ensure that the outgoing message indicates that it's automatically generated, and alos contains information the recipients may reach out to if they have questions.

This is very much needed...perhaps a competitor, Airtable has this feature.

They do (w/out the quotes) in from field: "name i want" (via Airtable)
