Tried to backup workspaces but backup is reporting "pending" for a couple of hours.

I have requested backups on a number of our workspaces but none of them have completed. The backups are sitting on "pending" and regardless of their size all are still in this state.
Any ideas? I have logged a support call also but through I would see what you guys may know about this.

Don't worry guys. It has completed, just took longer than normal.
