Adding Search Capabilities on a Dashboard
Hello SS Community.
First time poster. I am looking to see what solutions are available on a dashboard. I am a PM, and manage my region's PM Team Landing page. I have some widget short cuts that route users to different dashboards and portals for the teams projects, but have been asked if there is an app/report/link that a user can type in a name of a project on the dashboard and have either a direct link or a list of related resources.
The simplest way to articulate my vision is a search box field but instead of searching the internet, just limiting the range to a report/ or maybe a sheet with all the active projects with hot links to other sheets or dashboards.

In a Dynamic View, you can filter/search for what you need to look for.
I've developed solutions for clients where we used a form, select the criteria, and submit and open the Dashboard to show the filtered information.

I'm curious how this is done. I run a dashboard for escalations and I need my associate population to be able to search for an EE ID# and see if there's been one created for that. I only want them to have access to limited information, not all the details of the entry.
