Expressions in Data Shuttle

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to write an Expression in Data Shuttle to give me TODAY's date in a column? Or even a TEXT expression that reads "IMPORTED". I can't get ANY expression to work.

Thanks!

    Hi, Anthony.

I think what you're looking for is essentially a time stamp that shows the date data was updated (but doesn't change again until the next time you update the sheet via Data Shuttle). Is that right?

If so, I think you need to set that up OUTSIDE of Data Shuttle by using the "Record a Date" workflow on your base sheet.

If you can provide more detail or even some screenshots of what you're trying to do, I may be able to give you a clearer answer.

  • Thanks,

I figured it out. You have to create the "Expression" field on your base sheet FIRST..then it shows up as an item you can map to. I was able to use =TODAY() which was cool.
