Sharing folders in a workspace
Hello,
I've created a database in Smartsheet for onboarding purposes. There are 5 folders within the workspace but I would only like to share two of them with the field. It appears I can only share an entire workspace unless I'm overlooking something. If that's the case, if I moved two of the folders to a different workspace, would that cause an issue with any of the automation or anything else?
If anyone has a solution that may be more efficient, please let me know.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now to share folders, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- As you mentioned, you can use another Workspace, and your automation would probably continue to work (I would need more information to give a better answer)
- Depending on what Smartsheet plan you have, you could maybe use the Premium App, WorkApps.
- Another option could be the Premium App, Dynamic View.
Would any of those options work/help?
