Notification for non assigned requests after 1 business day

I have a SS that adds new rows from a form. As part of our workflow we want to send an alert using the automation builder if the request has not been assigned after 1 business day but need some help with setting up the triggers. I am assuming i need to use the created date column and a helper column to add 1 day but not sure of the next steps or how to create an IF statement using date time. Any help or guidance to articles to help would be appreciated.

    You can set up a Workflow with an Alert that with a condition to check if it has been assigned or not.
