Report in Dashboard - how to disable the "open report" link?
Hi all,
since some time there is an open "open report" link under each report in the dashboard.
But the user should not be able to open the report, how can I disable this?
Thank you

If you use a contact column on your metrics sheet and enter all users to get everyone's counts, you could then build a report that pulls all rows from the metrics sheet and have it set in the dashboard to only show based on current user.

You should be able to edit the Widget Behavior.

Hi @Paul Newcome, thank you,
but this does not eleminate the "Quellbericht öffnen...." linktext in green, which was automatically added and I have never seen before and which links to the report itself.
On the other hand, I would like to have a link to an other application, if someone clicks the header.
-
@Joachim Mund Change the "Take No Action" to the option "Open another Site" then you're provided a box to insert a link to the other application you're trying to link.
-
thank you, I know, but can I get rid of this green box with the link:
-
I've never seen that before honestly, and it doesn't show up any time I have a report in a dashboard.
@Genevieve P @Andrée Starå @Mike Wilday Have any of you seen this? I can't seem to replicate it.

Hi @Joachim Mund (and hi @Paul Newcome !)
This notification is part of the Summary Row functionality in Report Widgets. It will automatically appear if you have chosen to collapse your rows in the Report so only the Summary rows are showing:
There currently isn't a way to disable this pop-up. It's there to allow the user looking at the Report to quickly access the source Report if they need to see the child rows below that heading (since you can't expand these rows directly in the Widget).
Please let our Product team know about your feedback, here!
Thanks,
Genevieve

@Genevieve P That makes sense. I never tried that particular setup. Thanks!!
-
Thank you @Genevieve P that is the reason!
But it is neccessary for me to choose "collapse the rows" because I only would like to show the count of the grouped categories and not the details.
-
@Joachim Mund Do the grouped categories regularly change? If not, we should be able to create a "Metrics" sheet and use formulas with cross sheet references and then use a metrics widget to surface this data onto your dashboard.
-
@Paul Newcome this could be a good idea,
but I need the count of status values for the current user.
I do not think, that this is possible via a KPI sheet.
Thanks, Joachim
