Calendar Event to Re-Occur

Hi,

I need to make a calendar event re-occur without formulas and magic conjuring.

So set date for 7/1/21 and Tell it to re-occur weekly. And have it happen.

within same calendar have another event occur monthly.

Perhaps the solution includes a sheet for weekly tasks and one for monthly that

can be combined?

Ideas. Seems odd i cant do this.

You could maybe set up workflows with the record a date feature.

Im sorry im not following that?

I need a sheet my team can add dates and tasks and make recurring.

If someone has to create workflows for every task that wont work because the average team member doesnt need to mess with that to add and edit team/department schedules.

Do you have an example of how that might work, im not following how work flows might be used to easily schedule items recurring on a calendar. Sorry

Do you want the recurring task to be on the same row and only update a date column?

I want to be able to get the functionality of what you would do for example in Google Calendar. When you create a item on a date and time and then tell it recurring. If you say every week on Thur. Every week on Thur it shows.

I want to accomplish that.

Using rows to do it is fine, but i dont know how to go about that. Because the calendar cant store dates that dont pull from rows. And the rows cant auto populate frequency of recurring "rows". Which would be events in this case.
