New Dashboard Layout has changed all of my existing dashboards

I know that smartsheet has changed the way dashboards work and is supposed to be more user friendly.

up until last month there was an option to keep the classic view or new view. I am not able to see that option any more and it defaults as new view.

the issue is for some reason, the side-by-side data widget splits the widget in half so you have the title on one side and a block of text only in half of the box. Now i need to go back and resize all my text widgets in order so the text doesn't cut off when printing.

am i missing something, or what's the fix/workaround. see attached example.

Based on your screen captures, it looks like the widget type you're using is a Metric Widget. If so, there is an option under "Data & Layout" to change the display from a side-by-side layout to a stacked layout:

Does this fix your issue without needing to re-size the widget?
