Is it really free in app store?

On the website, it lists the pricing as the following

But in the MS app store, it is listed as free:

The only thing that is blocking me for trying the app is that it requires a work email and my phone number to proceed. Can someone clarify whether it is indeed true in app store? And what is the "price" to pay? (Giving out my phone number?)

The mobile app itself is free to download. You can use this to access and edit any of the sheets that have been shared to your free collaborator Smartsheet account. This would be similar to accessing and logging in to https://app.smartsheet.com in your browser, which is also free.

However, if you want to own and create sheets (and other Smartsheet items), you'll need to have a paid Smartsheet account as shown in your top images. Then you can edit those sheets within the free app.
