What is the best way to connect "predecessors" in SmartSheets to Jira?

My dev team uses Jira, while the project team wants to use SmartSheets for Gannt charts, dashboards, etc. If we create tasks in Smartsheets through templates, how can we carry over "blocked tasks". In SmartSheets, we refer to it as a predecessor", while in Jira it would be a "linked task" as "blocked by". Any insights are greatly appreciated!

I am asking in a separate chain, as I believe there may be a better way forward if we take a step back and look at our JIRA integration as a whole
