Link an individual task?

I've tried searching for this and haven't found info - I apologize if it's out there!

Is it possible to send a link to an individual task? Sometimes, that's helpful. Since I group all relevant info into individual tasks on the card (e.g., attachments, links, and any conversation), it's sometimes really great to send a link to that specific task. For example, someone may ask about it on a call, and I could send a link in the call chat to all the relevant information, status, history, etc.

I've used Asana in the past and have been able to do this, not sure if the functionality exists in Smartsheet.

Yes, you can either use one of the following options.

• Send a Row feature

• Update Request

Actually if you JUST want the Link/URL e.g. to paste into an email or another worksheet.... there seems to be a better /quicker way..

Right Click 'Properties' on the Row:

and Cut and Paste the 'Row Link

Which will look something like this :

https://app.smartsheet.com/sheets/36j7XXg3fXv7x2hx5hW3X85VJ39hx88jPGxq6px1?rowId=5458934392350596

Which you can then paste ....
