Smartsheet University Is Here!

Hi Community, 

We are excited to introduce Smartsheet University, a single platform for eLearning, live instructor-led training, in-person training, and custom training. Smartsheet University offers unique learning paths and meaningful content that focuses on the knowledge and skills that matter to you, your industry, and your career aspirations. 

With this announcement, the Center of Excellence (CoE) is now eLearning, and will continue to include all the same great courses. This is not a change to your plan. If you have access to CoE, you will have access to eLearning. You can now earn badges for completing specific learning paths. Badges are new to the credential offering this year and are a great way to showcase your skills on social media.  

On September 1, the Product Certification program will transition to the Core App Skills Badge. We will launch a new Certification program in 2022. If you have already registered for the certification exam prior to September 1, you will have until December 31 to complete the certification.

We have two new subscription offerings: Smartsheet University All Access and Smartsheet University All Access Upgrade. With Smartsheet University All Access, you get unlimited access to both live virtual instructor-led training and eLearning. If you already have eLearning access, the All Access Upgrade adds unlimited access to all virtual, live instructor-led training courses. 

With Smartsheet University, you can learn when and how you want – self-paced or with a live instructor – and earn credentials to show your expertise. Let Smartsheet University help you transform the way you work!

    @Debbie Smith In the old CoE we were able to click on the profile icon in the top right corner to access a listing of all courses we had completed. The Product Certifications also had the ability to print a certificate an link it to our LinkedIn profile.


    I can't seem to find any of that anymore. I just get stuck in a loop going back and forth between the main page and my profile page which doesn't display any of my certifications or courses completed.


    Am I missing something? Did these move to somewhere else, or are they just gone?


    I have also noticed that the banners for the different courses that I have already completed are either gone as if they have not been completed or have changed to "Get Started" (I assume in place of "Registered").


    I know I got 2021 Product Certified, but I don't see the badge in my profile (along with a couple of others that I notice are missing), and based on what I am seeing in the SU I need to recertify. That would be a bit of a pain as I had already completed all of the prior courses and certified, but I can't just skip straight to the test now. I will have to go through all of the previous courses all over again.


    That is one thing I did like about the old CoE. I could just get up to date on all of the changes that had been made over the previous year and retest to maintain my certification instead of having to go through all of the basics all over again as if I were a new user.


    So I guess what I'm saying is...

  • @Paul Newcome There was a bug this morning which has been resolved. You should still see your list of completed courses and can still print out your certificate. If you cannot please email me directly ( [email protected] ) so I can figure out what is happening.

    We are launching a new certification program in February. Right now we have the Core App Skills badge which is a certificate of completion.

  • It looks like a multiple account situation. If anyone else has this issue please let me know and we can merge the training records.

  • Hi @Debbie Smith I completed the Core App Skills capstone quiz but I am unable to view the badge. When I log into the community, it indicates 0 badges. I did notice in Smartsheet eLearning, I have no profile picture but when logging into the Community, my profile picture is uploaded. Sending some screenshots.

  • Thank you @Debbie Smith ! In the interim, should I be able to see the badge in the Smartsheet eLearning? I have not been able to see the badge anywhere.
