Data Shuttle Offload Error
Hello! Hope everyone is safe and sound. Since yesterday, I´ve been having troubles with my offload workflows, all of the 23 offloads (except 1) have been failing to run and reports this error: "Workflow Execute: A required header was missing or invalid: Content-Length"
I´ve been trying to figure out the reason by deleting and starting again the workflows, but nothing, I´ve changed the source or the target and for most of the cases it gave the same error. I am going to show a printscreen of the message as an example:
By the other hand, there is one offload tha seems to never fail, and there is another one that fails two or three times, then run succesfully, and then starts failing again and so on:
I´m truly baffled about this because it seems so random for me, but I´m sure that is because I still don´t understand the reason.
Thank you.

Hi all,
(@Fer, @Justin Everly, @Stacie Karkhoff)
Thank you for reporting this issue and for those of you who contacted our Support team! I've confirmed with them that this is a known issue that our engineering team is now currently investigating.
Our testing has found that the error only seems to occur when generating .csv files. In the meantime, try setting your workflows to generate an .xlsx file instead of a .csv file. If needed, you can download the .xlsx file and convert it to a .csv through Excel > Save As.
Thanks again!
Genevieve

@Fer I'm having the same issue today (10/8/21). I even deleted the workflow and re-added it. Maybe a bug?

When you re-added the workflow, did it run succesfully or it kept throwing the same error?
Yeah I´ve been considering that it is some kind of bug, maybe because yesterday (10/7/21) https://status.smartsheet.com/ reported to be working in some stuff related to the workflows. So maybe that had some influence 😅

Hello Fer,
My offload is doing the same after 400+ successful offloads. Seems an update caused the issue seeing others experienced the issue starting around 10/8 as well.
I rebuilt my offload and get the same error.
Offload - extract csv attach to sheet - no filters applied (straightforward extract)

Hello @Justin Everly wow...well then I guess that all we can do now is wait for Smartsheet to fix this bug...and hopefully for this week 😅
Thank you for the feedback.

Hi @Genevieve P. thank you so much, yes, all my Offload Worlkflows are now running fine.
-
@Genevieve P. it seems this issue is back. I get errors when using a .csv file but no error when using a .xlsx file.

Hi @Lori Hight
There was a brief window on the 2nd of June where certain Data Shuttle workflows were displaying an error, however this has now been resolved. Please try to re-run the workflow today! If it still gives you an error when you know that it shouldn't, contact the Support team through the Portal.
Cheers,
Genevieve

@Genevieve P. is this Offload to CSV thing still an issue? I recently setup an Offload Workflow and am experiencing errors the next day after configuring it. Is there an update in sight? I'd had to spend time converting things to XLSX if a fix is right around the corner. The issue I'm going to have is what I'm doing with the output file once it's available. The handling of a CSV and XLSX are likely going to be quite different.

Hello, do we know for the manual workaround (reconfiguring the workflow each day), is the issue with the input/source Smartsheet file or the output/destination file? I've been remapping both and having success, but would rather not have to do that. Trying to understand the issue more, so that I can work with it better. Ideally, looking for it to simply function on its own.

This thread is from a specific issue in 2021 that was resolved; if you're consistently seeing errors in your Data Shuttle workflow, I would suggest reaching out to Smartsheet Support with a screen recording of what you're seeing, along with the link to the Smartsheet sheet and a copy of the external file.
