Can Smartsheet be used to link to an existing file or document on the web (Not to another Smartsheet document)?

Yes, the Hyperlink option when right-clicking a cell allows the text to include a hyperlink to any external file. We use it all the time in our project schedules to link to files in Google Drive or websites for project process information and templates.
