Duration Column - Contains Units

Hello all.

We would like to use the duration column in a number of our Smartsheet calculations. However, we noticed that the "units" appear (in our case, it seems to be "d" for days)

Example: Start Date: October 25, End Date: October 27. This returns Duration: 3d

Is it possible to remove the d in the Duration column to be just: 3? We would like it to be a numeric column only (no UoM).

If this can't be done, is the only option to do our own calculation between two dates in a new column (e.g. Duration2)?

If you are using the duration column as part of the dependency settings, then the data is stored on the back-end as a numerical value. You should be able to go ahead and run your calculations on that even though the displayed value shows a "d".
