Report / Dashboard for Resource management?

Hi,

looking for ways how to run our resource management for show trucks from out of Smartsheet, we feel being very limited. Is there any way how to visualize resources on a simple calandar view (day/week/month...) with the resource being in focus? Like a hotel room, being booked for some days, available after, booked again ...

We are only finding ways to visualize project data and show via GANTT, but this is not what we need.

Would be amazing to find existing ways how to use Smartsheet, thanks for your support.

It sounds like you have a Report built and you're looking to put it in a Dashboard using the Report widget but it's only appearing in either the Grid or Gantt view, and you want the Calendar view, is that correct?

If so, you could Publish the Report and then embed it as a Web Content Widget in your Dashboard, which would allow you to display it as a Calendar.

Here's the setting in the Publish window that allows you to set it to the Calendar View:
