Importing Excel into existing sheet

i saw a post 12/9/19 about importing data, but wanted to see if mine can be done.

excell file the is about 100 columns wide, 600-800 rows.

Right now i am copying 50 columns, 500 rows at a time, till all are imported.

if i import a new sheet, it creats a now sheet. I tried to do a formula pulling in the data, but, when i import a new sheed the formulas liked to old import.

is there a way to import a new sheet daily and have my existing sheet pull from the new import data, without having to copy 50x500 at a time.

    Hi @Stephen Hindes

I hope you're well and safe!

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

    • The Premium add-on, Data Shuttle, can automate it completely
    • Add a so-called helper sheet, an Import Sheet that is connected to the main sheet. Import the Excel sheet and then copy/move the rows to the Import sheet and that would update the main sheet.

    Make sense?

Would any of those options work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Have a fantastic weekend & Happy Thanksgiving!
