need creative idea: work document (sheet/report?) shared with external stakeholder, frequ. comments

Hi,

I´m hoping that someone has a creative idea for me.

Scenario:

While working on multiple projects, I depend on frequent updates from an external stakeholder (ES).

I thought I could set up a report and share it with the ES so that we can both use the comment feature to exchange updates/feedback, but sharing a report means that I have to grant access to the source sheet which contains sensitive information so that´s not an option.

I tried to publish the report and shared the link, but my organization does not allow the option to (share with anyone who has the link). It can only be shared within the org.

Dynamic view initially sounded good, but how could I have the active exchange there?

I appreciate any suggestions.
