Request for elapsed time in dependency lags/leads to allow for weekend work
I'm working with a biotech team and its extremely common that biological research activities can't stick to a regular 5d/40hr schedule and some tasks will end up on weekends. This can be done in simple cases with elapsed days (e1d etc). But frequently I need to set a dependency that's one or more days following another activity (XXfs+1d) so that it can properly fall into a weekend. MSProject allows you to use elapsed days in lags and leads but elapsed days don't work at all in leads/lags in Smartsheet. This is really frustrating. I see that there are multiple other users who've pointed out this same need - could smartsheet expedite this improvement please?
Many thanks!

Hi @slmcquaid
Thank you for voicing your feedback! It would be helpful for the Product team to hear from you about your specific use-case and scenario when it comes to elapsed time. If you have a moment, please fill out this Product Feedback form so that they can review your request.
Cheers,
Genevieve
