Consistent [Column Name] Formula

Hi,

Is there a way to add like a string "[Column Name]" so whenever I add a new column that has that name the formula stays refrenced to that new column with the same name?

Thinking along what @Paul Newcome asked...I may have come up with a solution. What if you kept the [This week] column the same, but inserted a column formula in that column to reference the current week.

=[1/7/22]@row

Then you could go in and update the column formula for the [This week] column to [1/14/22]@row for next week, [1/21/22]@row the following week, etc.

It's still manual, but would save having to update multiple formulas.

So When I have a column named [This Week],

I want to add at the end of the week another column for the new week, and name that new column [This Week] and rename the old column to last weeks date I.e. [1/7/22]

I want to accomplish that I don't need to update the formulas linked to [This Week] column

Now I got it, I just add 1 column "Current Week", then enter in this column =[1/7/22]@row,

Then any refrences can refrence current week, so only current week needs to be updated instead of all formulas.

But there's no way of refrence-forcing a column name, instead of linking to a certain column, right?

That is correct. You are not able to reference a column that does not exist.
