i would also like to see a feature add to automatically run the row report to be emailed out on a recurring weekly basis- am i missing the option?

I find it almost preposterous that we even have to ask for such an elementary request. Smartsheets should have addressed this internally and users should not even need to keep asking.

I join the rest of the community asking for improved features when it comes to printing reports. Not all the audience for these reports have/ want access to Smartsheet to view reports, and they like attachments (ie reports as attachments). It is a feature that must be provided in order to really allow for Smartsheet penetration into the Business Fabric of all organizations. Myself i want to be able to keep Copy of my reports, as they show me at instant T0 a situation, that will evolve over time. I want to be able to compare where the difference occurred. For this I need to have print out of the reports, wit Totals, with all the grouping, and features that I have in the "online" reports

Is there hope of ever getting the print issue with reports fixed? It sure would be nice if we could print the reports the way they look on our screens. I have areas within my buildings that have an issue with the network, and we have to change the location of some meetings because I can't connect to Smartsheet. I would like to hand out reports for those meetings. I also have staff that do not use a computer for their daily work but yet they need to see the reports I have created. Please put this on top of your list to work on.

I asked this question on January 26, 2022, and the only comment I have seen from Smartsheet is dated January 26,2022. I was told at that time; printing reports would be coming. This is a basic feature, and I would think that Smartsheet would want to current with all their basic features. This request has been a BIG disappointment for me. I would love to run reports and be able to print them so I can share with staff that don't sit in front of a computer. I also would like to have a printout to verify my data.

Please give me some feedback on this request, hopefully it won't take another year and a half before I get an answer.

I saw how important this feature was so I created a browser extension and implemented a new PDF generator to solve the problem. You can click here to download the browser extension.

Then click the "SSFeatures" button at the top, and then click "Generate PDF".

Here is an example of what the generated PDF looks like, notice how it has all of the grouped and summary rows:

Nathan, this is a very important aspect for Smartsheet. I still feel that they are the ones that SHOULD add printing reports as they appear on the screen. They are the owners of the software, and I pay a lot of money to use it. I don't want to or have the time to keep track of everyone that has your SSFeatures added. Being in the Higher Education field, the paperwork to pay for not only Smartsheet but the SSFeatures is mindboggling. I appreciate your talent in creating SSFeatures, but I can't justify purchasing it.

Hi Janelle, I completely understand. As I spend more and more time going through the SmartSheet feature requests, the more I find features that are crucial. I've seen this more lately now that I'm getting feedback directly from users about improvements that can be made. Hopefully the SmartSheet team prioritizes PDF generation in 2025 since it's one of the highest upvoted feature requests.
