How does one modify an existing config? I can't find a way to modify and figured I would have to delete old config and create a new one. Problem with that is the old config won't delete. I click on trash can, say "Okay" when asked if I am sure , but the config is not deleted. Thanks.

  • Hi @Tanya Brooks

If you've clicked "Ok" after the pop-up asks if you're sure you want to delete the config, but you still see the config in your list, try re-freshing the browser window to see if this updates your list.

You can also edit a config by clicking on the gear icon:

Note that you won't be able to change the Source and Target sheets, but you can update what columns are mapped. Clicking the gear icon will open the Config window to the last tab, where you can then click "Previous" down at the bottom to navigate backwards through the settings until you find the update you'd like to make:

  • Hi, Genevieve.

I would like to reduce the number of columns that are mapped in a config I've inherited (it has successfully been transferred to me). When I'm in the "3 - Map Sheet Columns" tab I do not seem to have the option of deleting a data field or even unfilling it once it has been created. I have 62 fields transferring hundreds of rows of data and I'm running up against my cell limit. I could easily reduce by ten columns without affecting the functionality of my target sheet if you can suggest a way to do this.

    Thanks for your help,

    Zach

  • Hi @Zach Ford

In the "3 - Map Sheet Columns" tab you should be able to select a "blank" field in the dropdown options instead of a column name, like so:

Once you've selected "blank" for both sides of the mapping, these fields will no longer be pulled over! You can then delete the columns from the destination sheet.

    Cheers,

    Genevieve

I'm hoping to get a bit of help with this as well. I am only able to go so far as tab 3 in edit- but it will not let me go to edit the target sheet. Since creation, I have deleted a target sheet and it is now giving me notices that it will not run due to this mismatch for the sheet "not found." It keeps telling me to fix the configuration, but I don't see how without deleting this and creating a new config all together.

  • Hey @VictoriaD

In this scenario you would need to delete the configuration and re-create it with the active sheets.
