Is Microsoft killing the Outlook Add-in?

Hi all, I was just informed by our I.T. Dept that Microsoft is killing the Outlook Add-in.
We use this add-in quite extensively. Is anyone out there aware of a quick and easy way to attach emails to specific rows in specific sheets?
It sounds like we have until June when Microsoft will be permanently disabling Legacy tokens.
This is going to impact quite a few users on our plan that rely on this feature.

Hi all,
That email is the current guidance that we have regarding the Outlook integration; please follow the steps in the linked articles to keep legacy tokens enabled for now until June.
We are looking into how to proceed after June and there will be additional communication in the next few months once there are clear steps forward.

I was not aware that this plugin is going to be killed. Pretty bad news if it's true.
I think that you can use zapier to create / update rows based on emails.

@Genevieve P. hoping you could get us a clear answer from Smartsheet around this? We received an email basically saying that the outlook integration will be eliminated in June this year.
Or is there another announcement somewhere that we are missing?

Hi @Genevieve P. and all - What's the solution for organizations unable to turn on legacy tokens? My organization is bound by many outside factors that prevent us from using any solution known/revealed to cause a security risk. My team relies very heavily on the Outlook add-in, and without it, we're just about dead in the water. I've created a flow in Power Automate to create a row in Smartsheet from a flagged email, but this solution doesn't bring over any attachments. I've emailed my rep, but we're desperate for a solution.

I agree - we just finally were able to resolve the issue with ours not working. This feature has become a major part of our workflow for our custom CRM. Without this, we will probably look into a fully functional CRM tool to replace it.

The Outlook addin is a crucial part of our workflow. Without it, Smartsheet isn't very useful for us. I was the driving force in getting our org on board with Smartsheet, but will most def look for another platform if this addin goes away.
