Is there an easy way to group dates in a chart widget to better display many data points?

I am tracking the weekly % complete of many different projects and want to demonstrate the change over time but I am not finding an easy way to group the dates to make the display more appealing to the audience.

If you're looking to group dates together by week, what I would suggest doing is set up a helper column in all of your underlying sheets that pulls the WeekNumber from the Date column:

=WEEKNUMBER([Date Column]@row)

Then you can bring this column into a Report and GROUP by that WeekNumber. The Summarize function in a Report can then create a few calculations on your % Complete column (ex. showing the AVG over the week or the MIN or MAX).

Then you can use the Grouping and Summary line from this Report as the source for your Chart Widget (I'm imagining one chart per-project, side by side or down the Dashboard).
