Match Numbers from one sheet to another

Hi I'm trying to make a inventory with a reference from a another smartsheet sheet, but since im kinda new into Smartsheet I dont know which formula I need to use.

Its a hole Row from one sheet and then tell if it exist or not in the one that im working on.

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.

Another option would be to use so-called helper sheets. In short, copy the row to a helper sheet and then use my method described previously to get the values you need to another helper sheet and then copy/move the row from that sheet to the main destination sheet.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.

I want to place the formula here, where you can see I have some Serial numbers that I need to see if they already add them to this sheet.

So basically , I need to match if the Serial number that I have in [Num de serie] on Sheet1, have a match with the same serial number on [Monitoreo en vivo] in Sheet2

Then I'd recommend an INDEX/MATCH structure instead.

This is how it's structured.

=
INDEX({ColumnWithTheValueYouWantToShow}, MATCH(CellThatHaveTheValueToMatch@row, 
{ColumnWithTheValueToMatchAgainsTheCell}, 0))

Depending on your country/region, you'll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.

No, that will not work. You'll have to set up two different Ranges, and I'd recommend naming them something more describing what it is.
