Imported Dates Incorrect Format
I am copying dates from Excel and pasting into Smartsheet and cannot get the format to recognize the date correctly. For example I have two dates, 02/17/22 and 02/11/22. When I copy them into the date column in Smartsheet they show as 2022-02-17 (correct) and 2022-11-02 (incorrect). No date formatting I have tried seems to fix this. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Hi @BDonner
What Regional Preferences do you have set in your Personal settings? This will dictate how your dates appear in Smartsheet.
For example, I have mine set to English (US), which means dates will be read as MM/DD/YY, so when I copy in 02/11/22 it shows as Feb 11th, 2022.
However if my Regional Preference are set to English (UK), then the date format for my account is DD/MM/YY. This means 02/11/22 will populate in as Nov 2nd, 2022, but since 02/17/22 is impossible, it will translate this to Feb 17th.
See: Adjust your personal account settings
Cheers,
Genevieve
