Auto Population
Good morning,
I'm currently building multiple inspection forms for my employer through Smartsheet. Each inspection form has columns at the end of the form that are titled the same (Inspection Type, Deficiencies, Immediate Corrective Action(s), Follow-Up Corrective Action(s), Responsible Person, and Due Date). I am wanting to build a Corrective Actions Roll-Up sheet which, when submitting any inspection form will automatically populate all information from the columns I have listed above (in parenthesis) to its designated column titled the same on the Corrective Actions Roll-Up sheet. Is this possible in Smartsheet?

Yes, you can use a Copy or Move workflow to copy or move the records from each form to the roll-up. All of the other columns in the source forms will travel also, but you can just hide those on the rollup.

It sounds like you want to use a report for this. A report can take each sheet as an input.

Is it possible to assign individuals to tasks in the report? The idea is to transfer all of this data to one sheet and then have the ability to assign individuals to corrective actions.

Really, I'm wanting this information to transfer to a task list - stores the findings, details what the corrective actions are, assigns an employee and a due date.
