Credit Card Receipts and Alloction
I'd like to use Smartsheet to collect receipts and info about the expenses (Category, person, etc.). I'd like each image of receipt(s) to be a child row, and when the statement comes in, to be able to make sure that the children submitted throughout the month agree with the credit card total.
Have any of use created such an application? Other than going into the Smartsheet and making the receipt rows children, is there any other way to tie that together? To make this available to multiple people, would I need to create a separate sheet for each card-holder? And then when it is reconciled by the card holder move it to a shared sheet for manager approval and Accounting?

Yes, I recently developed a solution for a client where the manager imports information from AMEX and then goes through and selects what they need the employees to go through and add their receipts and much more. I've developed other similar solutions as well in the past for other clients.
I think Smartsheet has a simple example in the Solution Center, if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you! I'm still on the lookout for the best way to make the receipts and GL allocations for each item on an employee's the corporate credit card to become children to a parent row that has the credit card total and tells you when the total is fully accounted for.
Right now the way I am thinking of doing it is ... as the employee reviews their statement and what they submitted, then indent the receipt rows. But I can't give all employees access to each other's spending so I need one sheet per employee card. Unless I use reports (current user) --- but I think I have to give permission to edit the underlying sheet. And even then ... I don't think you can indent from a report ... can you?
